A tale of flan in fur

About a month ago, while Casey and I visited her parents in St. Louis for Christmas, somebody accidentally dripped a drop of her mom’s homemade flan on our chihuahua Basil’s ear.

In a stunning act of parental negligence Casey and I didn’t clean it off and over the past several weeks the little amount of flan residue that remained became a matted spot, and Basil assumed the title of “Flan Ear” AKA “Flanier.”

Until last night. Bathed. De-crèmed. Flan Ear no more. The Flanier is out of the flan industry.
