I think I understand when you say you “have” to write down these tiny flashes of consciousness. Memory will not likely hold them, but if you write them down you give them weight and life. They are little gifts, sprinkled everywhere, waiting for you.

I had a friend back in college who referred to his male member as a dingus. My girl friends and I, in turn, referred to him as a viking dingus. Not sure that's in Websters. LOL
