Hey Spencer! I’m tired of winter. Not much blooming yet in Minneapolis.
Ok, that said, I just turned 70 on Thursday and celebrated with my family: wife Jane, three adult children & 5 grandchildren. Very fun evening! It’s great to be 70!
We understand Casey’s joy. We just finished our first EP and it’s exciting (albeit nerve wracking) waiting to launch it into an already oversaturated world. Drizzling as usual in Minneapolis; looking forward to the Vic and hoping you’ll make at least a cameo. Here’s to love and sunshine.
Love all these pics, full of joy and humanity. Currently doing well, if a bit overwhelmed by all the music in my head. I saw three concerts this weekend (Moor Mother, New York Philharmonic, and Zosha Di Castri) and I'm burning to get the words out about them. And I have a hard deadline as I will be seeing at least as many next weekend, starting with Lael Neale on Friday!
We’re in the down under hemisphere in autumn .....so loving the changing colours of the leaves rather than flowers blooming .....and the crispness of the morning air after a hot sweltering summer......but every season is special isn’t it !!
Happy to read your post and congrats to Casey for getting that much closer! Feeling happy down in Texas after a two week vacation although the weather here in Texas is much prettier than where we were! Oh and just restrung my new guitar for first time and loving the new strings!

Pretty dandelions! People always throwing trash at them. But look how they shine and smile, all golden. They don't know they're a weed. Happy spring!

Feelin Fantastic after seeing Wilco last night in Greensboro NC, we drove down from Virginia Beach, next time seeing them in Mexico for my birthday

Congrats to Casey! We’re feeling blessed. Came home after 10 days away to find our backyard in full bloom. Nature is amazing! xoxo
