Bogus: my wife Shannon and I have not recorded together since the late 80s, on a 4-track Tascam Portastudio.
Cool: we just invested in a 16-channel Tascam (that name again??) and Logic Pro, and will be learning all over again to record demos of our new music. We are in our sixties, but relatively unafraid of technology. Wish us luck putting our studio together, please.
Oh man! We lost our Charlie Whoodle 4 years ago and miss him everyday! They have the best personalities….just out of curiosity were any left in the litter?
Hey Steven! Last I heard there are puppies left in the litter. I might be the only one who put a deposit down at this moment. The breeder is in Massachusetts. Where are you?
Happy birthday, Casey! My birthday was yesterday! And I don’t know if Casey can relate, but last year spending my birthday in Mexico for Sky Blue Sky was a rare warm treat for this midwestern January bday dude! Basil looks so proud of himself in that picture!
Happy Birthday to Casey🎉🌈🎂🌺! .Shout out to Joseph & wife with their TASCAM & Logic at 60! I’m 80 and have been trying to get the finer points of Logic for a year, and just took delivery of a TASCAM Model 12 this week. We could form a club! The Antiquarian Recording Society…any time you want to share, give me a shout; yes I am still writing songs…my husband encourages this behavior…
Also wishing Happy B-Day to Casey and Hola to Basil. Agree that heat shrink videos are oddly satisfying. Thank you to Mark and the elves for the very fun Wilco Radio! Enjoyed this post too Spencer- the fun clickable links to explore. Bogus- my work week included comically difficult situations but all were resolved. Cool: got a new guitar 2 weeks ago and going out with my 23 y/o son to a local band tonight!
I love to do meticulous-if-tedious tasks. The concentration frees up brain space for other stuff to percolate. Plus it's satisfying to accomplish something with a tidy outcome.
Cool: On Thursday I took photos for a magazine story about the proposed expansion of a toxic waste landfill and its impacts on the surrounding ecosystem.
Bogus: The first thing on Monday morning I helped my wife take down the Christmas tree and then went straight into my office and spent the rest of the day updating my website😉
Cool: (1) both of my daughters going wedding dress shopping with their 95 year old grandma (my mom) in New York today; (2) repeated listens to "Blue Train"; (3) getting tickets to the Portchester shows.
Bogus: (1) losing Crosby & Beck; (2) the 3rd Portchester show falls on April Fools' Day, which is like a national holiday for my family. I'll need a workaround, like celebrating on April 2nd. That'll fool 'em!

Love from Minneapolis.
That is awesome!!! Good luck and keep us posted :)
Keep on keeping on, Danger Pins!
Bogus: Went back to my day job after having a super charged relaxing 10 days off.
Cool: My Whoodle pup turned 2 weeks old today. The breeder sent me a video of the mom nursing her pups this morning.

Happy birthday, Casey! We drove by a bunch of bungalows in south city today!
Bogus: the German shepherd/husky and beagle/pit that we adopted 5 months ago are mistress escape artists. Time to fix the fence. AGAIN.
Cool: 10 weeks into to learning how to throw clay, I’m finally hitting a rhythm! Loving it! .
Happy birthday to Casey! You two make a great couple!❤️❤️
“These were some of the kindest, firmest acquaintances I’ve ever met.” Oh my gawwwwwwwwwwd funniest thing I’ve read all day, lolol 🎯
Bogus: a terrible medical diagnosis in the family
Cool: got Wilco tickets

Bogus: got a sunburn 🥵
Cool: Swam with sharks and rays in Bora Bora while listening to Wilcoworld Radio!
Basil seems to have a “follow me” attitude…true?
Oh come on Spencer! Loosen up with all those scantily clothes ladies (plastic people).
