A brief history of my music-making with Henry True.
I loved reading and listening to this. Such a long, wonderful friendship between two musical talents!
And I always loved your Quaker Oats commercial. Classic! 😂
Wow, the (abridged) history! You guys are practically seasoned pros now, but I still smile at the image of you guys cowering in a NJ motel on your tour back from Solid Sound, which probably seems a lot funnier now than it was then...🤣❤️
Of course you started with Heavy Metal Drummer....🤪
Hi Spencer, your history is great, and your talent is superb. It is amazing but not surprising that you have kept in touch with all of your musical friends since you were 7 years of age. Your work, your attitude and your accomplishments are inspirational to all. Love, Zaid.
Thank you for the back story. Sorry I missed the early years. My first exposure to Henry was the release party for Mass to Gloria Hills in the basement at Club Soda. Sad the LTN walk was cancelled that year but glad our little contingent landed there (even if we couldn't figure out how to get in). What a cold and fun night!
Awesome!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Such a great story! ✨🎶🥁🎸🔊 🎶 ✨
So The Blisters....absolutely rock!! Listening to the 2013 album I realize this blog post is going to involve a lot of listening and exploring. Thx for the rich post Spencer.
I loved reading and listening to this. What a great, long friendship between two musical talents!
Also, I loved that Quaker Oats commercial! 😄
Spencer, What an enlightening and delightful history of your early career! I really enjoyed reading it and watching and listening to the clips.
The "True" Story. Sorry. That was too easy.
Super illuminating! Thank you, Spencer. I’m looking very forward to listening to these tunes!
I loved this history of the Blisters! thank you!
Thanks for this, Spencer - what great story. Love "Sitting with a Loaded Gun."
